Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the world record fencing programme "Shaurya Veera" by Nari Shakti in Indore on Saturday. When he saw more than 5 thousand women and girls fencing with enthusiasm and passion, he could not stop himself. CM Dr. Yadav held the sword in both hands and also demonstrated Shastra Kala symbolically. He showed the skills of fencing with both hands. The programme was organised by Anmol Muskaan Welfare Society Indore with the aim of teaching self-defense techniques to women. For the first time in the country, 5 thousand women performed a collective swordsmanship at one time and one place. CM Dr. Yadav also announced to give five lakh rupees to the organising institution for such an event. He said that this programme is a unique initiative and an inimitable example of women empowerment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indore is one which has "no end and no limit", whatever it does, it does it amazingly.
