Jammu, Sept 3 (Reporter) A gunfight broke out between the security forces and the terrorists on Tuesday evening in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police spokesperson said that based on specific intelligence about the presence of terrorists, a joint search operation was launched by security forces at Thanamandi in Rajouri. “The contact has been established and few rounds have been fired from both sides,” said the spokesperson, adding that the area has been cordoned off and further details are awaited. Three-phase Assembly elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir from September 18 to October 1.
