Amritsar, Sep 14 (Reporter) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), on Friday night, arrested a NRI at the Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar, for allegedly carrying 15 bullets from a 9MM pistol. Airport police station sources said that Amardeep Singh, who originally belonged to Gurdaspur, was at the airport to catch a flight to New Jersey. During the inspection of his luggage, 15 bullets from a 9MM pistol were found. He was arrested immediately; however, he had to be admitted to medical college, as his health deteriorated apparently due to the stress and panic.
