On the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama Yatra from Valmiki Dham on Thursday. Before the Yatra, he planted Sindoor, Triveni- (Neem, Peepal, and Banyan) saplings within the Valmiki Dham premises to mark World Environment Day. Delivering a message of environmental protection, the Chief Minister urged everyone to contribute to a cleaner environment by planting as many saplings as possible.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav offered floral tributes at the Samadhi of Anant Shri Vibhushit 1008 Swami Sohan Das Ji Maharaj at Valmiki Dham and visited the temple. He paid his respects to the saints and interacted with devotees participating in the Yatra. On the occasion, the Chief Minister remarked that it was a very auspicious day and prayed to Maa Kshipra for the success of the puja, archana, and Parikrama Yatra, seeking her blessings for all. He also extended his heartfelt greetings to everyone on Ganga Dussehra and World Environment Day.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and all devotees were warmly welcomed with flower showers from platforms set up at various points along the Yatra route. To ensure the comfort of the participants, arrangements for free distribution of drinking water, cold drinks, and fruits were made at multiple locations. The Chief Minister led the Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama on foot, carrying the ceremonial flag from Valmiki Dham to Ramghat. Accompanying him in the Yatra were MP Bal Yogi Umesh Nath Ji Maharaj, Minister in Charge Shri Gautam Tetwal, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluhera, Municipal Corporation Chairperson Smt. Kalawati Yadav, Executive President of Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama Mahant Rameshwar Das Ji, Mahamandaleshwar Bhagwat Sharan Ji (Bhagwan Bapu), Mahant Bhagwan Das Ji, Mahant Shyam Giri Ji Maharaj, Mahant Krishna Giri Ji Maharaj, Mahant Pranavanand Ji Maharaj, Mahant Eknath Ji, Mahant Mahavir Nath Ji, along with Shri Sanjay Agarwal, Shri Narayan Yadav, Shri Vaibhav Yadav, and other distinguished guests.
