Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today paid a courtesy visit to Union Home and Cooperatives Minister Shri Amit Shah at his office in North Block, New Delhi, and discussed various issues related to Cooperatives in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is progressing in the field of Cooperatives under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership. He informed that recently the state government has agreed to manage and operate the Dugdha Sanghs through the National Dairy Development Board for the next five years. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this agreement will increase the income of cattle rearers and dairy farmers in about 11 thousand villages. To strengthen the cooperative sector, the state government will form multipurpose cooperative institutions in these 11 thousand villages. Dr. Yadav informed him that Sanchi Dugdha Sangh will be upgraded with the increase in milk production in the state. The Sanchi brand will be further improvised.
