Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at Samatva Bhavan, the Chief Minister's residence, on Friday. Dr. Yadav welcomed him with a bouquet of flowers and extended a warm gesture by presenting him an angavastram and a statue of Raja Bhoj. During the visit, from the residence office room, Shri Yogi admired the serene evening view of Bhopal’s Big Lake (Bhojtal) with keen interest. Dr. Yadav highlighted that the Big Lake, a defining feature of Bhopal, has a history spanning centuries. He shared that the rulers of the time had constructed it using advanced techniques for water storage. Shri Yogi Adityanath praised the natural beauty of Bhopal and appreciated its rich heritage. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held discussions with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath regarding the upcoming Simhastha in Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Yadav informed him that a grand Simhastha will be organized in Ujjain in 2028. To enhance the event’s arrangements, a team of officials from Madhya Pradesh has been sent to Prayagraj to study the ongoing Maha Kumbh preparations and incorporate best practices into Simhastha’s planning.
