Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan continuously monitored voting besides other arrangements from the Election Control Room in all the six Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies in the first phase of Madhya Pradesh Lok Sabha Elections-2024. As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, arrangements were made for monitoring sensitive polling stations through webcasting and CCTV. Voting was conducted in a total of 13 thousand 588 polling stations in six Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies, Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and Chhindwara. All activities taking place at more than 8 thousand polling stations were broadcast live through webcasting and special monitoring was done through CCTV cameras.
