Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the innovative 'Karmabhoomi to Janmabhoomi' scheme, aimed at enhancing underground water storage by harnessing rainwater. Under this initiative, businesspersons originally from other states, now residing and operating in Gujarat, are contributing their resources to install bores in their native regions. The scheme has already commenced in Satna district, Madhya Pradesh, with a statewide target of installing 15,000 bores. This commendable campaign, driven entirely by traders' participation without reliance on government funding, reflects a remarkable commitment to water conservation. On Thursday, Dr. Yadav held a tripartite meeting at Shram Shakti Bhawan, New Delhi, with Union Jal Shakti Minister Shri C.R. Patil and Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma to discuss the effective implementation of the scheme.
