Patna/ Begusarai, Jan 18 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar assured approval to the requirements and other issues of Begusarai district in the Cabinet meeting to be held before the next session of the state legislature.
While reviewing the ongoing development projects in Begusarai district during the third phase of his Pragati Yatra, Kumar said in Begusarai on Saturday that the local people and the public representatives have apprised the authorities about their issues and requirements and announced to approve them in the Cabinet meeting to be held before the next Bihar legislature session. He said that the authorities would seriously look into the issues for effective remedies.
Reiterating his commitment to continue with the NDA, Kumar said that he shared an old relationship with the alliance and added that it was Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a senior BJP leader who made him Chief Minister of Bihar during his tenure as Prime Minister and also allowed him to serve in his Union Cabinet.
The Chief Minister asked the public representatives too to get first-hand stock of the issues of the people in the jurisdiction.
Outlining his achievements, Kumar said that his government developed infrastructures and progressed well in various sectors including health, education, law and order, agriculture, energy, tourism, and others after coming to power in Bihar.
Kumar said that 9 lakh people have been provided with government jobs against the target of 12 lakh.
His government was providing financial assistance to the poor people and the other oppressed sections of society for their livelihood.
During his Yatra, the Chief Minister announced to revive and develop the famous Kanwar lake into a tourist spot. In addition to this, he also announced the development of Simaria Ghat in the second phase. Besides widening and strengthening several roads in the district, the Chief Minister said that a degree college would be established at Samho in the district.
Earlier the District Magistrate of Begusarai Tushar Singla apprised the Chief Minister with the progress of the schemes and other development projects in the meeting...////...
