Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Chaired the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday at the Mantralaya. The Cabinet approved the ‘Data Strengthening Scheme’ under the Planning, Economics and Statistics Department of the state for the timely collection and analysis of statistical data. The data will be made available for use by departments, the public and planners. With this initiative, the state government is taking a significant step toward achieving ‘Prosperity through Statistics’.
This scheme will help the government make better and more informed decisions based on data. Timely access to data and analysis will enable the government to formulate more effective policies. All departments will be able to share data seamlessly, enhancing transparency and improving employee efficiency. Independent researchers and policymakers will also benefit from the data, making it easier to design new schemes. Citizens will have access to data as well, thereby promoting transparency and accountability in governance. The availability of reliable data will increase investor confidence and boost investment in the state.
