Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Panna is a land blessed by God, known both for its Heeras (Diamonds) and the Heroes. He emphasised that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is working for the welfare of every section of society. CM Dr. Yadav said that on the auspicious occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan’, the state government extended several benefits to women. ‘Ladli Behna’ received ₹250 as a special Rakhi gift. From ‘Bhai Dooj’, after Diwali, they will start receiving ₹1,500 per month, which will gradually increase to ₹3,000 per month by 2028. CM Dr. Yadav assured that there will be no shortage of funds for the welfare of ‘Ladli Behnas’. He said, citing a recent survey, that wherever the ‘Ladli Behna’Yojana has been implemented, families have witnessed prosperity. He reiterated that the state government is firmly committed to protecting the dignity of mothers and sisters and ensuring their economic empowerment.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a mahila sammelan in Amanganj, Panna district, on Friday. On the occasion, he also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works worth ₹106 crore.
