Patna, Dec 16 (Reporter) Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Monday cancelled Preliminary Test (PT) conducted for 70th combined competitive examination held at Bapu Examination Centre in Patna on December 13.
Chairman of BPSC Parmar Mannu Bhai told media persons here that after a crucial meeting held to assess the preliminary investigation report of disturbance created by some examinees and other anti social elements during PT on December 13 at Bapu Examination Centre in Patna , a decision was taken to
cancel it at this centre only. PT held at 911 other centres across the state was peaceful without any irregularity, so there was no need to torture examinees of these centre to take fresh examination again, he added.
" A total of 4.75 to 4.80 lakhs examinees had appeared in PT at 912 centres across the state on December 13 including Bapu examination centre
in Patna " Chairman said adding that PT held at all centres except Bapu centre would not be conducted again. There would not be normalisation even after
separate set of question paper would be used for re-examination to be held at Bapu examination centre, he added.
Parmar Mannu Bhai said that result of PT would be declared simultaneously, held at all centres including re-examination to be held at Bapu examination centre. Date of re-examination to be held at Bapu centre would be announced, he added. Strict action would be taken against all those found creating distrubance at Bapu examination centre, he warned.
