Mumbai, Jan 9 (Reporter) The Bombay High Court on Thursday dismissed a PIL filed by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sunil Modi challenging the withdrawal of 12 MLC nominees by the previous Eknath Shinde-led government in Maharashtra. A Division bench of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay and Justice Amit Borkar observed that 'the PIL is misconceived and is liable to be dismissed,”. The MLC nominees were recommended by the MVA government. Thereafter the Eknath Shinde-led government came to power and sought to withdraw the nominees.
