Ayodhya (UP), Jan 4 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has taken charge of 'Mission Milkipur', reached Ayodhya on Saturday during which he held a meeting with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office-bearers and workers in the auditorium of Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural University. The CM gave the mantra to the workers for victory in the by-election for the Milkipur assembly seat and said that there should be healthy competition among the workers to ensure that BJP gets maximum votes at the booth. He said that the workers should compete among themselves to win their booth, gram sabha, and Mandal with the maximum votes. "Contact and communication is the best way to win. Aim to perform best through this," he said. Yogi said that BJP is a symbol of development. "We have made Ayodhya a symbol of development. We consider Lord Ram as the symbol of development and Sanatan, while Samajwadi Party (SP) considers Babar as the symbol of destruction," he said. He said that SP stopped the development of Ayodhya, opened fire on Ram devotees and also threw the state into the fire of riots. "SP still stands with terrorists, miscreants and criminals, while the BJP is continuously taking the country and state towards development. Housing, toilets, free gas connections are being provided without any discrimination, only on the basis of eligibility," he said. The CM said, "The state has been freed from anarchy and mafia rule." He asked the workers to go among the people with the welfare schemes of the double engine government and appeal for votes on the basis of development. He also encouraged the workers. He said that when the consecration ceremony of Ram Lala's took place, the world gave a lot of respect to the people of Ayodhya. He said that despite 65 percent Muslim population in Kundarki, BJP won the by-election with record votes in the name of development. Yogi said, "It is only because of the workers that we succeeded in winning 7 out of 9 seats in the UP assembly by-election. The workers should work with full energy with the aim of winning the Milkipur by-election with record votes." The proceedings were conducted by Legislative Council member Avnish Singh Patel.
