Patna, March 9 (Reporter) Leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Nitish government has deliberately deprived 50 thousand people from backward, extremely backward, Dalit and tribal communities of government jobs by not implementing 16 percent reservation for the section.
Addressing a function of his party, the RJD leader said here on Sunday that the grand alliance government had increased the reservation for the class from 49.5 percent to 65 percent during its 17 months of tenure and sent a proposal to the centre for incorporating the decision in the 9th schedule. He alleged that the BJP and the central government continuously for 10 months deliberately ignored its inclusion in the 9th schedule and later created legal hassles depriving the section of 16 percent reservation.
Yadav said that the advocates associated with Rashtriya Janata Dal were keeping a close watch on the related case in the supreme court and reiterated that he would fight the battle in the interest of the backwards dalits and tribals.
Yadav said that he would continue his agitation to get a 65 percent reservation included in the 9th Schedule on the lines of Tamil Nadu at any cost and would not let the 16 percent reservation be denied.
Yadav said that he wrote twice to get justice for the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) candidates, but the Chief Minister did not respond. It seems Kumar was not bothered with any issue and was busy only to save his chair...////...
