Hyderabad, Mar 8 (Reporter) Telangana BJP President and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy expressed concern over the short notice given for the proposed Telangana MPs meeting convened by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Kishan Reddy acknowledged the invitation extended to BJP MPs but noted that they had received it only late last night, leaving them with insufficient time to deliberate on key issues before the meeting. He emphasised that a meeting of such importance requires adequate preparation to ensure meaningful contributions to the discussion.
Citing the paucity of time, he stated that the party had been unable to hold internal discussions on the agenda.
However, he reaffirmed the BJP's unwavering commitment to the development of Telangana, assuring that the party would continue to work sincerely and steadfastly for the state's progress.
Expressing hope for better coordination in future, he urged the state government to provide adequate time for preparation before convening such crucial meetings, ensuring effective participation and productive discussions.
It may be noted here that the Telangana government has scheduled an all-party MPs meeting to discuss and resolve long-pending issues with the Central Government.
The meeting is set to take place at Praja Bhavan at 1100 hours on Saturday under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu (Finance and Planning Department).
