Chandigarh, Sep 1 (Reporter) Former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Sunday referred to media reports and took a swipe at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s alleged hunt for a safe Assembly seat for fielding Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in the October 5 elections. While addressing a meeting of workers in Uchana, the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader said no one knows whether the Chief Minister would be fielded from Karnal, Ladwa, or Narayangarh. He said he had challenged Nayab Singh Saini on social media to contest from Karnal, and now there is speculation that the CM is looking for a safe seat including Kurukshetra district's Ladwa, Ambala district's Narayangarh, and even considering seats in Gurgaon and Faridabad. He asserted that in the coming elections, voters will hold Nayab Singh Saini accountable for the chaos and directionless governance of the past six months by defeating him. Chautala reaffirmed his commitment to his Uchana Assembly seat, from where he has been contesting since 2014, and said he would file his nomination on September 5. He recalled that late Jannayak Chaudhary Devi Lal, alongside Kanshi Ram, fought to secure the Bharat Ratna for Dr B R Ambedkar, which was awarded in 1990. Chautala urged JJP and Azad Samaj Party workers to unite and work diligently for the next 35 days to establish a farmer-labourer government in the state...////...
