Hyderabad, May 21 (Reporter) BJP leader Boora Narsaiah Goud has criticized the Telangana government, particularly regarding the announcement of a bonus for rice.
He argued that it is not appropriate to give a bonus only for fine paddy (fine rice) and suggested that the bonus should be extended to all types of paddy.
Speaking to the media at the state party office on Tuesday, Narsaiah Goud accused the Telangana government of betraying both farmers and students.
He questioned why the fee reimbursement arrears for students had not been released, pointing out that Rs 4,000 crores due were paid to contractors, yet the fee reimbursements remained unpaid.
He also highlighted that Rs 1,400 crores in pending Arogya Sri dues were affecting the treatment of the poor. Narsaiah Goud demanded that the Telangana government release the DA for employees and declare the PRC.
Boora Narsaiah Goud also criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of forgetting the promises made after assuming power. He urged the government to immediately start the work they had promised.
Additionally, he criticized the government's decision to organize the Telangana Dasabdi celebrations, questioning the necessity of celebrating the decade again when the previous government had already organized the festivities in a grand manner...////...
