New Delhi, Jan 7 (Reporter) Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Tuesday alleged that BJP-led central government evicted her from official residence for the second time in just three months, a night before the announcement of Delhi Assembly elections. Addressing the joint press conference with Senior leader Saurabh Bhardwaj, Atishi claimed, “On the night before the announcement of Delhi's elections, the BJP-led central government once again, for the second time in three months, threw me out of my official residence, which is the Chief Minister's residence allotted to me in my capacity as Chief Minister.” “BJP cancelled the allotment of the Chief Minister’s residence and took it away from a democratically elected Chief Minister,” she further alleged. Three months ago, the BJP had committed the same act, Atishi said accussing, “When I became the Chief Minister, they removed my belongings and my family’s belongings from the Chief Minister's residence and threw them onto the street. The BJP believes that by taking away my home, abusing me, and making derogatory remarks about my family, they can stop the work we are doing for the people of Delhi.” Atishi further vowed to double her efforts to serve the people of Delhi with greater determination. “They can take away my home, abuse me, and insult my family, but they cannot extinguish the passion in our hearts to serve Delhi,” she said. She also pledged to ensure every woman in Delhi receives Rs 2,100 under the Mahila Samman Yojana is a showing her resolve to transform adversity into action. Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged, “The BJP has no concern for the people of Delhi. Their sole agenda is to crush the Aam Aadmi Party and its leaders. This shameful act of evicting a Chief Minister is a new low, even for them.” “Over the past few years, we have witnessed the entire functioning of the BJP in Delhi, and one thing has become very clear — the BJP has no concern for the people of Delhi. They do not care about addressing Delhi’s water issues. They are not concerned about ensuring 24-hour electricity supply for Delhi’s residents. They have no interest in the state of Delhi’s hospitals,” he claimed. AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal posted on twitter, “Within three months, the BJP has once again forced Chief Minister Atishi Ji out of the Chief Minister's residence. By insulting and evicting Atishi Ji from her home, they are showing their frustration. The BJP is facing a severe defeat in the Delhi elections, which is why they have resorted to such dirty politics...////...
