BJP does politics of hatred: Digvijay Singh

Prayagraj,(UP) May 16 (Reporter) Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Thursday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that it earns its political bread by creating hatred among the people. While talking to the reporters after meeting the party leaders at the Civil Lines residence of Congress Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari, Digvijay alleged that BJP is doing politics of dividing people instead of spreading love among them. "BJP has always done politics of hatred. It is diverting people from the main issues and is adopting a 'policy of pressure'. This government does not want to let the people raise their voice. The Constitution gives us the right to expression and the government is suppressing that right," he said. He called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a liar. "The PM has spoken so many lies in a decade that it is difficult to count them. Public anger has grown against this lie. The spark of revolution has erupted in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. People who used to remain silent till yesterday are now becoming vocal. This time change is certain," he claimed. The former CM has also raised questions regarding EVMs and the Election Commission. He said that even after so much public anger, if BJP wins then it is definitely possible by playing games with EVM machines. On the issue of opposition parties raising questions in this direction, the Symbol Loading Unit (SLU) of EVA has been kept in the Treasury on the orders of the Supreme Court.
