On one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in terms of trading volume, Binance, bitcoin dropped to $79,823, below $80,000 for the first time since November 10, 2024. On the Bitmex Cryptocurrency Exchange, the bitcoin price plummeted to $79,350 before rising again slightly above $80,000.
