Bihar: Six of family returning from Maha Kumbh killed in road accident

Arah, Feb 21 (Reporter) A family of six returning to Patna, including four women and two men, died on the spot when their car collided with a parked truck near Dulhanganj market on R-Mohaniya national highway in Jagdishpur police station area in Bhojpur district on Friday morning. Police said here that the speeding car collided with the parked truck near the Dulhin Bazar petrol pump. The incident took place on Friday morning when some devotees of Bihar were returning after taking the Maha Kumbh bath in Prayagraj. The accident probably took place when Lal Babu Singh, who was driving the car, reportedly fell asleep while driving, police said. All six devotees died on the spot. The deceased were identified as Karuna Devi (56), Asha Kiran (28) Joohi Rani (25), Priyam (20), Sanjay Kumar (60) and Lal Babu Singh (25).
