Patna, March 15 (Reporter) The Bihar government on Friday approved proposals for the construction of two airports at Bhagalpur and Rajgir. A decision to this effect was taken in cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. A new airport would be constructed at Rajgir while old airport would be shifted to a new place in Bhagalpur district. Official sources said here that the state government had approved a proposal to provide land for the airport at Rajgir. The proposed airport would have a runway of a minimum of 6,000 ft and a terminal building. Similarly, the existing airport at Bhagalpur would be shifted to a new place in the district. Suitable land for the construction of the airport would be provided for the purpose.
