Patna, June 30 (Reporter) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary on Sunday said under the RJD rule, the CM's residence was the epicentre of crimes in the state.
"The CM's residence was the epicentre of crimes during the RJD regime in Bihar," Chaudhary said.
RJD supremo Lalu Prasad himself was found to be in direct contact with persons of criminal antecedents from CM residence itself, when RJD was in power, he alleged.
" It appears that Lalu, at the age of 74 years, has some problems of memory loss as he forgot that his political career had started on the bassis of anti-Congressism", the BJP leader said.
He pointed out that Lalu was so fed up with atrocities committed against citizens and opposition leaders during the Emergency in the mid-seventies, that he had named his daughter as MISA, a draconian law (Maintenance of Internal Security Act) introduced to torture those opposing dictatorship and pushing them behind the bars without assigning any reasons. Now, the same Lalu had jumped into the lap of Congress, he said.
Chaudhary said Chief Minister Kumar had established rule of law in Bihar. Strict action was being taken against those found indulging in crimes, he stressed...////...
