Patna, Feb 3 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday congratulated BJP stalwart and former Deputy Prime Minister L. K. Advani for being honoured with the India's highest civilian award 'Bharat Ratna'. Kumar congratulated Advani through telephone and greeted him. Expressing his pleasure on the decision to honour L.K Advani with the prestigious award, the Chief Minister outlined the contributions of the BJP Veteran in the progress of the nation. He said that Advani's contributions as Union Home Minister and as Deputy Prime Minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee government was commendable. Advani is one of the most respectable leader of the country, Nitish said and recalled his association with the great leader during the regime of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Kumar said he had learnt a lot from the former Deputy Prime Minister and welcomed the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to confer him with the most prestigious award Bharat Ratna...////...
