Patna, Mar 24 (Reporter) The Bihar government has transferred 10,225 teachers as per their choice, accepting their long-pending demand. According to a notification issued by the education department of the state government, a total of 10,225 school teachers, including 7,272 female teachers, were transferred to different districts on the basis of options given by them in their applications. They had applied using the e-portal, specially created to handle the cases of transfer and posting of a school teacher in Bihar. Teachers were asked to give their details while uploading their applications to the e-portal while requesting their transfer. Affidavits were also submitted by teachers so that they could be penalised for any wrong information given by them in applications. Earlier, 47 school teachers were transferred due to their serious health conditions. After that, 260 teachers were also transferred on the same basis after verification of their applications...////...
