New Delhi, Dec 4 (Reporter) Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck accompanied by senior officials from the Royal Government of Bhutan will be on an official visit to India from December 5-6. The King of Bhutan, who arrives tomorrow morning, will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s 7, Lok Kalyan Marg official residence before noon. Later External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and senior officials of the Government of India will call on the King of Bhutan at the Hotel Taj Palace. The King departs on Friday morning. India and Bhutan enjoy unique ties of friendship and cooperation, which are characterized by mutual understanding and trust.
