Kolkata, Feb 4 (Reporter) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday greeted the delegation members coming from different countries to attend the Bengal Global Business Summit beginning here on Wednesday. " Spent the evening preceding the launch of our BGBS 2025 with delegates pouring in Kolkata today from all over the world. Over 5000 delegates including those from 40 countries of the planet have started arriving in our city on the BGBS eve," Banerjee said this evening. Around 20 ambassadors and High Commissioners are assembling to represent their countries, while the Indian tycoons are coming en bloc, often assisted by their chambers CIL, FCCI and ICC, she said. "Had tea with investors and officials at a New Town Lake side gathering before proceeding to inaugurate the summit tomorrow afternoon, " the CM said. Meanwhile, the stage is all set to host the two-day BGBS as the government made every arrangement to woo the investors. A preliminary list of prominent guests expected are Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, business tycoons like Mukesh Ambani, Sajjan Jindal, Sanjeev Puri and Jyostsna Suri, besides home-grown industrialists...////...
