Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal and Ken-Betwa river linking projects. He said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has gifted two big projects to the state in eight days. We are fortunate that Madhya Pradesh is becoming the first state in the country to implement river-linking projects. It is also necessary to work on the possibility of interlinking rivers in the state. This will benefit the drought-affected areas of the state. Public representatives should be active in making the residents of the implementation area aware of the benefits of the projects, maintaining mutual dialogue with them, and ensuring that the implementation of the projects is not delayed due to personal interest or anti-development mentality. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the members of the Cabinet before the meeting. The meeting of the Cabinet under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav began with the rendition of Vande Mataram in Mantralaya. Members of the Cabinet felicitated Chief Minister Dr. Yadav by presenting him with a bouquet for the launch of the Ken Betwa Link Project by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the implementation of the country’s first river-linking projects in Madhya Pradesh.
