Bengaluru, Sep 29 (Reporter) Arun Singh Dhumal and Avishek Dalmiya were elected as representatives to the Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council during the 93rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) held here on Sunday. Their election marks a pivotal step in enhancing leadership within the IPL, promising to influence the future direction of one of cricket’s most lucrative leagues. In addition to Dhumal and Dalmiya's appointments, V Chamundeswarnath was nominated by the Indian Cricketers Association (ICA) as a player representative, further strengthening player representation in the council. The meeting also saw the General Body unanimously passing the audited accounts for the fiscal year 2023-24, reflecting BCCI's commitment to transparency. The Annual Budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 was approved, outlining strategic financial plans for the upcoming year.
