Ayodhya (UP), Nov 14 (Reporter) Keeping in mind the possibilities of terrorist activities during the ongoing Kartik month's Purnima Snan in Ayodhya, tight security arrangements have been made, police sources said here on Thursday. Police sources said that the Kartik month's Poornima Snan will start from Friday on Udaya Tithi. "The administration has completed the preparations for the Poornima Snan. A large number of devotees come to Ayodhya and after taking a bath in Saryu, visit the famous Hanuman Garhi temple, Shri Ramjanmabhoomi temple, Nageshwarnath temple and many other temples and offer prayers," they said. Police sources said that Magistrates have been deployed by dividing the fair area into three zones. "Police and PAC jawans along with ATS commandos have been deployed for surveillance at every step from the bathing ghat to the main temples," they said. District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Raj Karan Nayyar are personally monitoring the arrangements. "Entry of vehicles will be restricted in Ayodhya," they said. Traffic Inspector Ajay Yadav said that parking has been made in different areas for the vehicles of the devotees. "After the consecration ceremony in the grand and divine Ram temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, the first Purnima Snan of Kartik month is going to be held, for which the district administration has completed preparations," he said. He said that strict security arrangements have been made at the ghats. "Water police, SDRF, flood relief personnel have been deployed for the security of the devotees at the bathing ghats," he said. Yadav said that water barricading has been installed to prevent the devotees from going into deep water. "After visiting the Saryu bathing ghat and Nageshwarnath temple, the route will be diverted for the devotees to reach the famous Hanuman Garhi, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi so that there is no pressure from the crowd," he said. He said that priority has been given to the convenience and security of the devotees. "A large number of devotees come to Ayodhya for Purnima Snan. Policemen have been deployed at the barrier for security," he said. He said that apart from bomb and dog squads, the intelligence department in civil dress has been deployed at various places. Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has set up changing rooms at the ghats for the convenience of the devotees on Purnima Snan. Ayodhya Municipal Corporation Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi and Municipal Commissioner Santosh Kumar Sharma are personally monitoring the arrangements. Safai Mitras have been deployed for cleaning from the bathing ghats to the temples. Police sources said that after the end of the ongoing Kartik Purnima Mela and Panchkoshi Parikrama in Ayodhya, strong security arrangements have been made in view of the crowd of devotees. The TI said that keeping in mind the possibilities of terrorist incidents, security arrangements have been tightened including Ramjanmabhoomi. "Every person is being closely monitored by modern technical machines. Large closed circuit cameras have been installed at many places in the fair areas, which are being controlled in the control room built in the fair area. The entire fair area can be viewed by sitting at one place," he said. It may be noted that in view of the threat of attack on Ram temple in Ayodhya by Khalistani terrorist Gur Pantwant Singh Pannu, the security arrangements of Ramjanmabhoomi complex were increased and high alert was put on them. Security arrangements have been tightened further after the latest audio message by Khalistani terrorist Pannu threatening to attack on November 16 and 17...////...
