Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that the double-engine government is fully committed to accelerating the development of rail infrastructure and expanding the rail network in Madhya Pradesh. He said the country is currently witnessing a golden era of progress, with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi firmly believing that there is no better mode of transport in India than the railways. In line with this vision, the Central Government is actively expanding railway lines across the state while modernizing stations. As part of these efforts, the Union Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the Ratlam-Nagda Railway Multitracking Project—a significant gift for Madhya Pradesh. This project will not only improve rail connectivity in the Malwa region but also contribute to boosting the regional economy. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw for sanctioning this vital rail project. The Chief Minister participated virtually from Panna in a press conference held on Thursday regarding the newly approved railway projects.
