Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that architects have had special importance since ancient times. Raja Bhoj himself was a great architect. Many examples of ancient architecture are present in Bhopal and its surroundings, including Bhopal Lake. The Bhopal Lake is essentially a dam. This extraordinary and unparalleled structure, which was built a thousand years ago, is still useful for a large population today. Built with frugality and technical excellence, this structure is a living example of the prosperous knowledge tradition, and its relevance is still significant. In this regard, the architecture conference happening in Bhopal holds special significance.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural session of the national conference "Transm" organized by "The Indian Institute of Architects" at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium. Dr. Yadav inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. The Chief Minister honored Dr. Nidhipati Singhania with the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) Fellowship, encouraging architectural innovation and incorporating heritage into architectural excellence.
