Madurai, June 8 (Reporter) On a two-day visit to this temple town, Union Home Minister Amit Shah offered prayers at the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple here on Sunday. He was received at the temple entrance with the traditional 'Poorna Kumbham' honours by the temple authorities. Mr Amit Shah spent about 30 minutes at the temple and had darshan at various sannidhis. All top senior leaders including State President Nainar Nagendran, who is also the BJP Legislature Party leader, former Chiefs K Annamalai, Ms Tamilisai Soundararajan, MLAs including Ms Vanathi Srinivasan, BJP TN General Secretary Rama Sreenivasan, National Governing Council members including H Raja, BJP Central observers and TN in-charge members, took part in the meeting.
