Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that life is invaluable, and negligence or haste while ignoring road safety rules is never justified. He stated that no question in the world is greater than human life, and therefore, every citizen must make it their foremost duty to follow safety rules while on the road. He urged everyone to always wear helmets while riding two-wheelers and to never forget to fasten seat belts while driving four-wheelers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav remarked that individual improvement leads to societal improvement. Following road safety rules is not only a necessity but a key responsibility of every aware citizen. Civic sense demands that drivers take responsibility not only for their own safety but also for that of others. To promote this cause, government officials are committed to leading by example by practicing safe driving and ensuring strict enforcement of road safety rules. They will also collaborate with local communities to organise awareness campaigns and workshops aimed at fostering a culture of road safety.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the one-day state-level workshop on road safety measures at RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management on Wednesday by lighting the ceremonial lamp and addressing the gathering.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the true skill of a good driver lies in setting an example through sensible driving and responsible behavior on the road. Collective awareness towards road safety can significantly reduce accidents, and public participation can create a safer traffic culture. He assured that the government would never fall short in providing necessary resources for road safety enhancement.
