Ayodhya (UP), Sept 3 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh unit president of Congress Ajay Rai on Tuesday claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be wiped out in by-elections to be held on ten seats in Uttar Pradesh and alliance candidates will win. While addressing Congress workers near Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University on the national highway while going to Basti, Rai said that the alliance candidates will win in the by-elections on 10 seats in the state and the BJP will lose badly. He asked the party workers to put in all their efforts to make the alliance candidate victorious in the by-elections. He said that the workers should go among the poor, the oppressed, and the needy and listen to their problems and fight with the government and administration to get them their rights. The state president said that the Congress workers of Ayodhya should leave no stone unturned to make the candidate victorious with full responsibility. While talking informally to journalists, he said that by-elections are to be held on 10 seats in the state in which the Congress has claimed to contest on five seats and the parties of the INDI Alliance will contest the elections together on the seats.
