Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, the celebration of cultural traditions continues uninterrupted. He announced plans to develop all sites in Madhya Pradesh associated with Lord Krishna as pilgrimage destinations. Dr. Yadav shared these views while speaking to the media after visiting Lord Krishna’s birthplace in Mathura with his family. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the spiritual significance of Madhya Pradesh, noting that many events from Lord Krishna’s life—such as his social welfare activities, education, friendship, and receiving the Sudarshan Chakra from Lord Parshuram—occurred on its land. He announced plans to develop these sites as pilgrimage destinations, aligning with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s commitment to promoting religious tourism. Dr. Yadav expressed confidence that these pilgrimages would become centers of faith and attraction for Lord Krishna’s followers worldwide. He also mentioned that the state government had organized grand celebrations for Govardhan Puja and Gita Jayanti this year and would ensure Janmashtami is celebrated with similar enthusiasm.
