New Delhi, Jan 5 (Reporter) BJP on Friday slammed Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the attack on an ED official in West Bengal, saying all "goons" have her protection. BJP National Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia made the remarks after ED officials were attacked during a raid of a TMC leader's house in connection with an alleged ration scam. "It's a place that has no respect for the Constitution and law and has a Chief Minister who stands with the offenders. The only thing Mamata Banerjee cares about is her throne," he added. The BJP leader also demanded the resignation of Mamata Banerjee and said, "Mamata Banerjee has no right to maintain her seat even for a day. She should resign... When ED officers were attacked, they called the police for help... Police refused to even speak to the ED officers." Bhatia asked: "Who's encouragement was behind it... It was of anarchist Mamata Banerjee."
