Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the Akhil Bhartiya Kavi-Sammelan ‘Sindoori Akshar, held on Monday at Ravindra Bhavanand listened to the poetic compositions presented by poets. The Department of Culture organised Kavi-Sammelan focused on the bravery and heroism of the Indian armed forces and national heroes. The poets drew inspiration from India’s strong leadership and the success of Operation Sindoor in their verses.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed with a bouquet. He felicitated the participating poets with Shawl and Shrifal.
Veteran poet Shri Hari Om Pawar, who participated in the event, remarked that a Chief Minister attending a poets’ conference and listening intently alongside the audience is a rare and direct testament to his sensitivity. Notable poets who presented their works included Shri Jani Bairagi, Shri Surendra Dubey, Anu Sapan, Shailendra Mathur, Sumit Mishra, Aman Akshar, and Dinesh Diggaj. The Kavi-Sammelan continued late into the night.
The event was graced by senior Member of Parliament Shri V.D. Sharma, Minister of State Smt. Krishna Gaur, MLA Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani, and other public representatives. Also present were Principal Secretary of Culture Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary of Industries Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh, Director of Vikramaditya Peeth Shri Shriram Tiwari, Director of Sahitya Akademi Dr. Vikas Dave, as well as numerous distinguished citizens and poetry enthusiasts.
