Ajit Pawar faction files Caveat application in SC

New Delhi, Feb 7 (Reporter) The Ajit Pawar faction on Wednesday filed a caveat application in the Supreme Court, seeking that no order will be passed by the top court in Sharad Pawar's plea without hearing them. The caveat filed through advocate Abhikalp Pratap Singh has pleaded that no ex-parte order should be passed against the Ajit Pawar faction if the Sharad Pawar faction moves an appeal in the Supreme Court against the Election Commission order officially recognizing Pawar's faction as the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Yesterday (February 6), the Election Commission (EC) announced that the Ajit Pawar faction is the real NCP and also allotted the NCP symbol 'clock' to them. The Election Commission said the decision was taken based on laid-out tests of the maintainability of such a petition, which included tests of the aims and objectives of the party constitution, tests of the party constitution, and tests of majority both organisational and legislative...////...
