Airplane crashed in Afghan mountains not Indian, clarifies Govt

New Delhi, Jan 21 (Reporter) The Union Civil Aviation Ministry has clarified that the passenger airplane that crashed in Afghanistan's mountains does not belong to any Indian airlines. "The unfortunate plane crash that has just occurred in Afghanistan is neither an Indian Scheduled Aircraft nor a Non Scheduled (NSOP)/Charter aircraft. It is a Moroccan registered small aircraft," Civil Aviation Ministry said on Sunday in a post on X. "More details are awaited," it further said. A local media outlet in Afghanistan had claimed that the passenger aircraft that crashed belonged to an Indian carrier.
