New Delhi, May 9 (Reporter) All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi on Thursday announced that it has implemented 100% digital payment system in its cafeteria. “Despite previous directives, it was observed by Dr. M. Srinivas, the Director of AIIMS, New Delhi, that cash transactions were still being conducted alongside digital payments at the cafeteria. In response of this observation, it is reiterated that only digital modes of payment, including smart cards, UPI, credit cards, debit cards, etc., will be accepted at all counters of the AIIMS Cafeteria,” an official statement said. “This measure aims to streamline transactions, enhance efficiency, and promote a cashless environment in alignment with the institute's commitment to modernization and convenience,” it said...////...
