Chandigarh, Mar 15 (Reporter) In a major breakthrough, AGTF, Punjab, has arrested two associates of Gurpreet Lehmbar and Jassa Nurwala Gang. DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Friday that the gang is involved in multiple heinous crimes, such as murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and extortion, in the areas of Ludhiana, Jagraon, Moga, Bathinda, and Sangrur. The arrested associates are Jagdeep Singh, alias Rinku, and Balwinder Singh, alias Babbu, and they recovered two pistols and 10 live cartridges from them. He said Rinku was a proclaimed offender in an attempt to murder case registered in Moga. The other accused, Babbu, had fired upon a STF team at Neelon, Ludhiana, in June 2023 and has been absconding since.
