After scrutiny 21 candidates remain in the fray in Anantnag- Rajouri Lok Sabha seat

Srinagar, Apr 20 (Reporter) As many as twenty-one candidates remain in the fray for the Anantnag- Rajouri Lok Sabha Constituency after scrutiny that goes in for polling on May 7. The scrutiny of the nomination papers of candidates was done on Saturday by the Returning Officer of the Constituency, Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid. “During scrutiny, the nomination papers of four candidates were rejected, leaving a total of 21 candidates in the fray,” he said He said the candidates can however withdraw their candidatures till 3.00 PM on April 22 after which the poll symbols shall be allotted to the contesting candidates.
