Adani Total Gas net up 6 pc at Rs 178 crore in Q2

New Delhi, Oct 24 (Reporter) Adani group company Adani Total Gas (ATGL) today reported a 6 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 178 crore during Q2 (July-September) y-o-y basis of current financial year 2024-25 versus Rs 168 crore in the same period in the same quarter of previous fiscal 2023-24. “ATGL has reported healthy operational and financial performance during the quarter. Our business is closely aligned with India’s energy transition goals which we are delivering by providing cleaner and greener energy solutions to all our consumers. We now reach over 9 lakh consumers through our piped gas network supplying uninterrupted piped natural gas. We have commissioned our first LNG station for the transportation segment and progressing towards covering key highway networks aiding India’s decarbonization march”, said Suresh P Manglani, CEO & ED, ATGL. Following the recent reduction in APM gas allocation, which caters to auto CNG and home PNG consumers, the company is closely monitoring the situation and given its diversified gas sourcing portfolio, the company will ensure a calibrated pricing approach to protect its consumers’ interests, Manglani said. Revenue from operations rose by 12% in the Q2 on account of higher volume and sales realization at Rs 1315 crore as against Rs 1178 crore in the Q2 of last financial year, the company said in the release. With stabilization of gas prices, there has been an increase in consumption of PNG Industrial volume, and coupled with the addition of new PNG connection in domestic and commercial segments, PNG Volume has increased by 7% Y-o-Y, the company said adding the overall volume has increased by 15% Y-o-Y basis. The company informed that it has combined network of 958 CNG Stations, with 31 new stations added; PNG home connections cross 1 million mark to 1.06 million, touching over 4 million lives on a daily basis. It grew Industrial & Commercial connections to 9719, by adding 273 new consumers and completed cumulative about 22,608 Inch Km of Steel Pipeline network, the company added. In September this year, ATGL secured the largest global financing in India’s City Gas Distribution Business of USD 375 Mn to accelerate network infrastructure development program, it said...////...
