Dindori (Madhya Pradesh), Feb 29 (Reporter) Fourteen people died and approximately 20 sustained injuries when a pickup vehicle overturned in a valley in the vicinity of this district’s Badjhar village, police said on Thursday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives and wished the injured a rapid recovery. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced ex gratia of Rs 4 lakh each besides Rs 1 lakh to every hurt individual. State Public Health Engineering Minister Sampatiya Uikey visited the victims in hospital. A high-level inquiry shall be conducted. Late last night’s incident occurred within Shahpura Police Station limits. Most of the fatalities occurred on the spot.
