Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that efforts are continuously underway to provide employment to the people of the State through new investments. In this context, the ‘Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh’ Growth Summit, scheduled to be held in Gwalior on December 25, will be an innovative initiative. The summit will honor entrepreneurs generating high employment, inaugurate industrial projects and perform Bhoomi Poojan.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, an exhibition on the theme ‘Employment Through Investment’ will be set up across 45,000 square feet. The event will be held at Gwalior Mela Ground from 11:30 AM. The program will also include the disbursement of incentive funds, land allotment, inauguration of the Gwalior Trade Fair, and the launch of the e-Zero FIR system. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah will participate in these programs.
Several business leaders and officials from major industrial institutions, including Godrej Industries, Greenko, Vardhman Group, JK Tyres, Jupiter Wagons, Maken Foods, Dabur India, and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, will attend the summit.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the preparations for the ‘Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh’ Growth Summit through video conferencing and meetings at Samatva Bhavan, Chief Minister’s Residence on Saturday evening. Senior officials including Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Director General of Police Shri A. Sai Manohar and Principal Secretary of the Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion Department Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh, were present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also received detailed updates from the Collector and Commissioner of Gwalior regarding summit preparations and issued necessary instructions. As per the scheduled program, the Madhya Pradesh Growth Summit-2025 will host a grand exhibition on the occasion of the birth centenary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The exhibition will include portraits of Late Atal Ji’s life and work, as well as detailed information about industrial projects. Successful startups, ODOP (One District One Product) initiatives, and GI-tagged products will be showcased along with details of investment units worth ₹2 lakh crore and profiles of various industrialists. Employees from different sectors and units will present the positive changes in their lives brought by employment.
The meeting also discussed the role of various departments in the summit, honoring youth and entrepreneurs who have secured employment in districts and divisions, and land allotment for industries at the divisional level.
Tribute to Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Union Minister Shri Amit Shah and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will pay tribute to Late Atal Ji by garlanding his statue. On the occasion of his birth anniversary on December 25, the summit will also highlight his invaluable contributions to the nation.
