Chandigarh, Mar 27 (Reporter) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab on Wednesday termed Sushil Kumar Rinku and Sheetal Angural as traitors after they joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). AAP said that both the leaders were elected by the people because they were fielded by AAP, but now they have betrayed the people of Jalandhar and their trust. Taking a dig at two leaders who left AAP and joined BJP, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on his Twitter (X) account wrote, "Apne wallon tan dareya vadde ghar janda hai...Par vich samundar jake o marr janda hai... Gardan sidhi rakhan da mull taar rahein han... Besharman da tan nivin pa ke v sar janda hai." He asserted that he is always committed to guard Punjab's glory and honour. Reacting to this switch, the AAP Punjab issued a statement saying that Sushil Rinku was defeated by people in the Punjab Assembly polls, but AAP picked him up and made him an MP from Jalandhar. Both Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann campaigned for him, and helped him get a massive victory. However, he turned out to be a traitor.
