Lucknow, Feb 1 (Reporter) Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Saturday termed the Union Budget 2025-26 as a budget moving towards the overall development of the Indian economy and social welfare.
The Governor described it as a budget in favour of middle-class families, small entrepreneurs, youth, taxpayers and farmers. She said that the budget proposes many new schemes and reforms for MSMEs, education, health and technical sectors, which will accelerate the economic growth of the country as well as strengthen various sections of the society.
She described it as a common man's budget, a partner in the mission of developing India, promoting self-reliant India, preserving development and heritage and creating employment opportunities in all sectors.
Patel said that many provisions of the budget such as improving the condition of farmers through Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, continuation of Make in India through the launch of the National Manufacturing Mission, making cities as development centres through Urban Challenge Fund, Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for education, encouragement to research development and innovation initiatives, priority to investment in the economy, promotion of exports through Export Promotion Mission will provide direction to nation building and development...////...
