82% of workers in India mull changing employers in 2025: Aon’s study

Mumbai, April 30 (Reporter) As high as 82% of workers in India are considering changing employers in 2025, a survey of Aon Plc reveals. More than three-fourths of those surveyed in Aon’s 2025 Employee Sentiment Study said that they would be willing to sacrifice existing benefits for a better choice of benefits according to a statement issued here on Wednesday. Global professional services firm Aon surveyed over 9,000 employees spread across U.S., UK, China, India and Australia for the 2025 Employee Sentiment Study. The study revealed that in India 7% of employees feel undervalued, less than the 13% global average. A startling 82% of Indian workers surveyed in India are either in the process of moving employers or might seek new employment in the next 12 months, compared to 60% across the globe. “Until recently, very few companies considered how benefits, wellness and healthcare programs could shape their employer brand and employee value proposition. Post-Covid, we are seeing changes as employees increasingly value these programs, and companies are more actively branding and communicating their availability to current and future employees,” said Nitin Sethi, head of Talent Solutions for India, at Aon.
